Out! Community Cafe: Longmont & Boulder
Out! Community Cafe is a dynamic, inclusive space that encourages, inspires and validates everyone, as we share who we are and where we’re at in our lives. We will share the stories that define us while valuing similarities and differences. All opinions will get the attention and respect they truly deserve.
Though the community café is neither therapy nor your average support group, it is a place for sharing things in a safe space that you might not find anywhere else, and a place in which to ask your real questions - out loud. Questions like “If you felt completely comfortable in your gender/sexual identity, how would you create your life?” and “What kind of world do you dream of living in?” help get us started.
We also get read/watch then discuss books and movies, look for outside activities that we might enjoy doing together, create arts and crafts, and anything else that participants feel may be fun and rewarding for the group.
Out! Community Cafe is open to people aged 18 and up, of all genders and sexual orientations. Some may be questioning or coming out. Others may come to simply hang in a place that feels like a home away from home - that’s what a community cafe is.
We will meet in Longmont (463 Main St) on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 PM
and in Boulder (2132 14th St) on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 PM
(No meeting on 5th Wednesdays)
