Addiction Recovery

The LGBTQ+ Community encounters different struggles during the addiction recovery process than other communities, which is why we host Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholcs Anonymous (AA) for LGBTQ+ folks. When peer support is a big part of these community-based organizations recovery programs it's important for those peers to be a part of the community you identify with.

We are also collaborating with Tobacco Free Colorado to help provide resources for Tobacco/Nicotine addiction recovery.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a voluntary, worldwide fellowship of people from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership.

DESCRIPTION:

Narcotics Anonymous is a global organization that supports addicts who which to peruse and maintain a drug-free life style. N.A. membership is free. Their twelve-step program, including regular attendance at peer support group meetings, and an ongoing support network for addicts is not focused on any particular drug (even alcohol).

Step 11 helps to create a solid foundation for a peaceful and fulfilled life and to develop a more positive way of thinking, which will better serve you moving forward. A daily spiritual practice (whether prayer, meditation or practicing some other kind of spiritual activity) can help to promote emotional balance and stability and improve conscious contact, whether it be with a higher power or your higher self.
