Nondiscrimination Policy

 

Out Boulder County’s non-discrimination policy applies to all board members, volunteers, employees, contractors, and anyone who utilizes Out Boulder County’s services, participates in an Out Boulder County program or event, and/or visits Out Boulder County’s offices.

Out Boulder County follows an equal opportunity policy and does not discriminate in recruiting volunteers, board members, employees, or in serving clients.

Out Boulder County prohibits discrimination based on age, ancestry, color, creed, gender, genetic characteristics or information, marital status, mental disability, national origin, documentation status, physical disability, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or any other protected characteristic under any applicable federal, state, or local laws prohibiting discrimination.

This policy applies to hiring, internal promotions, training, opportunities for advancement,

employment separation, relationships with outside vendors and customers, board recruitment and membership, use of contractors and consultants, and in dealing with clients and the general public. Further, this policy applies to participation in, or receipt of the services and benefits under any of its programs and activities, whether carried out by Out Boulder County or through a contractor or any other entity which Out Boulder County arranges to carry out its programs and activities.
