Moving Testimonies Pass Bill Out of Committee

2/24/23

When elected officials speak up for equality, it matters.

On February 13, 8 members of the Colorado House State, Civic, Military, & Veterans Affairs voted to move the Fair & Family-Friendly Restrooms HB23-1057 out of committee.

Each of the 8 members spoke about their support by telling personal stories and sharing why this mattered to them, and in some cases, their families.

The Out Boulder County team, as well as anyone who needs a non-gendered restroom or access to a changing table, is deeply grateful for their leadership, and we hope you will join us in thanking them.

Below is more information about the committee members who voted in favor of the bill, including links to contact information.

Please take the time to send a thank you note to these representatives who remind us what it truly means to be a public servant.
